Woohoo!

Pretty new layout! Tell me what you think! I tried to make it easy to navigate, also added the upcoming movies to right —> along with the release date and websites for more reference

As for the gallery, or should I say, NEW gallery? Click here to view it. There are many NEW pictures, or, high quality versions from older versions, and it’s impossible for me to list everything here. I will list here the big sections and a small explanation in case you’re lost:

  • Awards and Film Festivals: any movie award, music award and festival that Johnny attented will be here
  • Interviews & TV Shows: screen caps from TV Shows
  • Magazine Scans: this section will have scans, photoshoots and promotional pictures, magazines separated by A-L and M-Z and Photoshoots by number. Also, miscelaneous sets like Magazine Covers, etc – many HQ versions in the Photoshoots section, you should check ;)
  • Movies: obviously, movies, this contains screen caps, promotional stills/pictures and dvd extras. I’m looking for screen cappers! If you have a DVD that we don’t have screen caps yet, and you can make some, e-mail me, please!
  • Premieres & Press Conferences: from movie openings and talking to the press about his movies
  • Candids & Misc. Pictures: candids, misc sets like P and Women (please note that we do not have stalkerazzi pictures, so you won’t find any picture of Johnny that was taken without his consent)
  • See? Not so difficult! Any question, post here!

If you have registered before, you’re gonna have to re-register as I’m not able to retrieve the old member list, ok?

As for the fanart on the old gallery, I will download everything and re-add to the new gallery, but, if you’re have submited fanart, please, register and send a contact form, so I can set you and allow you to upload again.

I’m looking to build the biggest Johnny gallery on the net (I’m pretty sure it’s the biggest already), and I can’t do it by myself, I need YOUR help. If you can contribute with scans, pictures, screen caps that we don’t have yet, please, e-mail me, okay?

I haven’t had time to test everything, it’s past 4am and I gotta work tomorrow, please report any errors or weird things, ok?

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (July 15)

•What’s popping? Director Tim Burton and Johnny Depp join forces for the fourth time with this trippy take on author Roald Dahl’s deliciously subversive fable, which also inspired the 1971 Gen-X fave Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

As before, good-natured Charlie Bucket (12-year-old Freddie Highmore, who reunites with his Finding Neverland co-star Depp) and his Grandpa Joe (David Kelly of Waking Ned Devine) win a chance to tour Wonka’s wondrous candy factory.

They are joined by four gluttonous children who suffer sticky comeuppances, thanks to the wily Mr. Wonka. Willy’s dad, Wilbur (Christopher Lee) — a new character — shows up in flashbacks.

•A few more kernels. The pop-art trailer suggests a psychedelic sugar rush is in store. But those salivating to hear The Candy Man, forget about it. “The only music is when the Oompa Loompas (the factory’s tiny handymen) sing chants after each child encounters problems,” says producer Richard Zanuck. As for the 1971 version, he says, “this not a remake. This is Tim’s version of Dahl’s book.”

Burton is doing his best to bring Dahl’s semi-sweet fantasy to high-caloric life, building a candy land on 17 soundstages at London’s Pinewood Studio. Besides a chocolate river with an 80-foot waterfall, “there’s a nut room with 200 squirrels at work,” Zanuck says. Yes, actual rodents. “From birth, we sent them to training school for six months.”

As for Depp’s interpretation of the mysterious Wonka as a Carnaby Street mod hatter with a propensity for saying, “Let’s boogie,” Zanuck notes, “All I can say is that it lives up to his sense of the bizarre.”

•Bonus treat. In the first movie, the Oompa Loompas were played by dwarfs. Now they are all played by the same 42-inch-tall actor, Dee Roy, who is shrunk via camera tricks to a mere 30 inches.

•Yum factor. Johnny Depp and chocolate outdoes peanut butter and chocolate any day.

Also, I havent been replaying to my e-mails, so, please don’t e-mail me again ok? I’ve been busy and I’m trying to post news as they happen. And also, please, DON’T apply for affiliation, I’m not accepting at the moment and I will not reply to any request.
