I spent the entire awards with my fingers crossed! I was pulling heavily for ya Johnny! I really was! He looked amazing, absolutely amazing. Even though, yeah it went to Daniel Dey, and I knew that it would (kinda hated the clip that they showed for JD too. Everyone else had some sort of spike moment in their scenes, and they show Epiphany for JD, they should have showed the one with himself and Beedle when he invites him up for a shave or after he killed Perrelli) JD and Burton still take it in my book. I think anyone who can pull off a musical without any formal training is worth an Oscar!

Congrats to Sweeney Todd for winning.

I was so ticked off when Johnny didn’t win last night! My older sister KNEW Daniel Day Lewis would get the Best Actor award. Oh well, he still looks amazing!

Johnny looked great! Vanessa was gorgeous.Too bad he didn’t win. Maybe next year. Johnny is a very talented guy , I’m sure he’ll win someday.

The Oscars were indeed very interesting as far as fashion was concerned. I still can’t get over what Tilda wore (**cringe**) Word to the wise: Velveteen looks good on nobody! I have only 2 complaints about Ms. Paradis for the Oscars (1) Black stockings? GF, if you’re gonna be in all black from head to toe, go with a nude stocking, much more elegant and a bit risque with a little peek of flesh from beneath that cavern of a dress! Course, don’t over do it like Diablo Cody did (gag!) Good gust of wind, and we’d see her Brittany Spears! (2) That bold red lip! Hmmm, yeah, go with a softer shade. That red in contrast to all that black was just too harsh. Fortunately, she was on Johnny’s arm which deflected a lot of attention from her. She got away with it and managed not to land on Cojo’s worst dressed list, which Tilda made #1
