Story by Chelsea ‘Dee’ Doyle
The problem with an actor like Johnny Depp is finding movies in his history that aren’t fantastic. Then you have to consider the movies that aren’t that good, but that he was great in anyway (which covers basically everything else).
The truth is, this Kentucky-born actor is one of the best in his or anyone’s generation, and he also is an accomplished producer, director, screenwriter, and yes, even has quite a set of singing pipes. Good thing he’s just so unattractive or he might just be the perfect Hollywood hunk … oh wait. He’s gorgeous. Damn you, Johnny Depp!
This was already posted, but I guess the server had some problems…
Johnny attended yesterday the UK premiere to “Public Enemies”, and the first batch of images was added to the gallery:
Public Appearances (2009): Public Enemies UK Premiere, June 29
There’s a new photoshoot added to the gallery, a really oh-so-gorgeous one done by Mark Bosten for LA Times.
Photoshoots: Session 075
Also, I did a new layout to our gallery, since the previous one was up for so long. I used a picture of the recent Vanity Fair shoot, I hope you like it.
First, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates. I had an annoying internet issue, and wasn’t able to connect for a long time. Everything is fixed now, and I’m back with the site updates;
I did a big gallery update with the latest events Johnny attended while promoting Public Enemies: Chicago Premiere and Press Conference, LA Premiere, and David Letterman.

In his new Vanity Fair cover story (not online yet, sadly), Johnny Depp and writer Douglas Brinkley visit Little Hall’s Pond Cay, Depp’s private, 45-acre Bahamian island, just a short yacht ride off the coast of Nassau.
According to Brinkley, every night on the trip, he, Depp, and their three accompanying friends sat around in Depp’s docked yacht watching YouTube videos.Here are the videos mentioned in the story:
This one is George Whitman, owner of Paris’s Shakespeare and Co. bookstore, lighting his hair on fire to impress two women:
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has made a touching tribute to the late Heath Ledger, by naming a beautiful snorkelling spot on his private tropical island after the Perth-born star.
Depp, along with actors Jude Law and Colin Farrell stepped in to help finish Ledger’s last film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, after Ledger died before finishing the film. The three donated their earnings from the movie which has been deemed kooky and crazy by critics to Ledger’s daughter Matilda.
In the July issue of Vanity Fair, Depp reveals he has named a snorkelling cove on the 45 acre Caribbean island called Little Hall’s Pond Cay, Heath’s Place.
Other beaches on the island are named after the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s partner Vanessa Paradis, his children and his mentors Marlon Brando and Hunter S. Thompson.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus premiered at the recent Cannes festival.
