Johnny And Amber Heard Are Reportedly Living Together
The 49-year-old actor has been dating Amber on and off since he separated from his long-term partner, Vanessa Paradis, in June 2012, and forked out on a $16 million ranch in Nashville, Tennessee, in December as a love nest for his new girlfriend.
A source told The Sun newspaper:
“Johnny’s told Amber he wants to marry her and have children after introducing her to his kids [by Vanessa] Lily Rose and Jack.
“He’s bought her another horse [for the ranch] so the one he got her last year can breed.”
It was reported that bisexual Amber had dumped Johnny in January because she was tired of his moods, but the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ star won her back by showering her with expensive gifts. The 27-year-old blonde – who was spotted with Johnny at a Rolling Stones concert in Los Angeles over the weekend – is determined to give the relationship another go and is hoping to spend more time with his children.
The insider added:
“She’s smitten with him but won’t take any nonsense. She wants him to calm the late nights and whisky drinking before they plan a wedding.
“They’re going to stay with the kids at his house in Plan de la Tour in the south of France, so it’s full steam ahead again.”
Tia Mowry’s husband is giving her the greatest gift of all this Mother’s Day – the chance to meet Johnny Depp! At the launch event for her new Milky product with twin sister Tamera at the A Pea in the Pod store in Beverly Hills on Thursday, May 2, the mother of 22-month-old son Cree shared with Us Weekly how she’ll be celebrating the holiday this year.
“Last year, I was out of town promoting my book Oh Baby so I didn’t get to do much. This year my husband is actually shooting a movie in New Mexico with Johnny Depp, so guess where we will be? We will be in New Mexico with Johnny Depp,” she told Us about husband Cory Hardrict’s role in the action film Transcendence. “I want to meet him because I’ve never met him before.”
“We’ll just get on a plane, go hang out, have dinner and maybe have a nice spa day,” she said of the trip. “I’ll probably get to meet him. I’m so excited about that. I’m very proud of my husband.”
As Katey noted in her editorial, it’s getting difficult to tell Wally Pfister’s “Transcendence” and Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar apart. Not only did the director of the former work as the latter’s director of photography for years, they’ve even begun to show a similar taste in actors, with Morgan Freeman – a veteran of Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy – signing on for a part in Transcendence last week. But the connections don’t end there.
Latino-Review has learned from a source that Cillian Murphy, who worked with Pfister as a DP on all three of Nolan’s Batman movies as well as Inception, has signed on to play one of the three male leads in Transcendence. The Irish actor joins what is already a truly all-star cast that not only includes Freeman, but Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall, and Kate Mara as well. While larger details about the plot are being kept under wraps, it’s been said that the movie is about a group of scientists studying the theory of the technological singularity – the moment where technology becomes intelligent and able to think on its own. Newcomer Jack Paglen wrote the script for the film, which is scheduled to start production this month.
Murphy had a pretty decent year in 2012, featured in not only Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, but the UK drama Broken (which is still making its way around the festival circuit) and the Sundance selection Red Lights. He recently worked alongside Jennifer Connelly and Melanie Laurent in writer/director Claudia Llosa’s Cry/Fly, which isn’t expected out until next year.
Actress Holly Robinson Peete got her breakout role when she was cast as Officer Judy Hoffs on the late 80s TV show “21 Jump Street“. That show was also a hit for Johnny Depp. On HuffPost Live Friday, Peete admitted that some flirting did go on between the two, but she said she would never actually date him. Her reason? Her mother.
Rebecca Hall is set to star alongside Johnny Depp and Paul Bettany in Oscar-winningcinematographer Wally Pfister’s directorial debut, “Transcendence“, it was announced by Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove, co-founders and co-CEOs of Alcon Entertainment, which is financing and producing the project.
Principal photography is set to begin in Los Angeles in April. Warner Bros. will release the film on April 25, 2014 via its output deal with Alcon.
Written by Jack Paglen, the screenplay was developed by Annie Marter and Straight Up Films, whose company principals include Marisa Polvino, Kate Cohen and Regency Boies. Polvino, Marter and Cohen will produce along with David Valdes (“Book of Eli”), Johnson and Kosove. Boies will co-produce.
Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Aaron Ryder are serving as executive producers.
Lucinda Williams is one of those Americana icons in the tradition of Johnny Cash, a singer-songwriter who fights for social justice and the disenfranchised. She’s spent years working with Amnesty International, and dedicated hundreds of hours to prevent convicted killer David Lee Powell’s execution in 2010. Her efforts failed, but it reaffirmed Williams’s fight against the death penalty and for fairer prison conditions.
So Williams was something of a natural fit when producers of the new documentary on the West Memphis Three, West of Memphis, sought contributions for the soundtrack, West of Memphis: Voices for Justice (streaming now on CBC Music). Williams told CBC Music how Johnny Depp brought her into the project, about capital punishment and the complicated case that continues to captivate.
Years ago I saw that first documentary that came out on HBO [Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hills]. Then flash forward several years and I happened to meet the woman [Amy J. Berg] who made this new documentary. One thing led to another and I told her I’d been involved in a case where this guy was on death row and I was trying to help because I’m anti-capital punishment and everything and we just started talking about that subject. And I’d done that Bob Dylan tribute album for Amnesty International ’cause I like getting involved in those kinds of things. So we talked about whether I’d want to have a song involved and they were going to do this CD, and I said, “Absolutely.”
Helena Bonham Carter has revealed she is always surprised by how strange Johnny Depp makes himself look on screen.
The actress has worked with the Hollywood heartthrob on six films, including Sweeney Todd and most recently The Lone Ranger, and said Johnny always seems intent on hiding his famous good looks.
Helena said: “He is funny because he’s one of the most beautiful men in the world and he just covers himself up to such a degree, but he does make me laugh.
“It’s always fun with Johnny because you’ve no idea what he’s going to come as. His make-up and his costume is always like – pile it on more… he’s somewhere in there.”
“Actually the first time I worked with him he was 120 years old, old, old, make-up, so it might not have been Johnny, in fact it probably wasn’t!”
