We're here to celebrate Johnny's life and career, and give fans a place to find the latest news regarding Johnny, as so media, images and more.
Garth Franklin of DarkHorizons.com reports the up-coming Tim Burton movie-musical adaptation of Sweeney Todd will receive an MPAA R-rating due to the amount of violence and gore in the film.
“Word was that Sweeney Todd, Tim Burton’s film version of the Stephen Sondheim musical about a barber who slashes throats and his cohort who bakes their remains into pies, had a lot of violence and gore. So, talk began that it was to be cut down to a PG-13 by executives hoping to cash in on Johnny Depp’s bankability with the teen crowd,” states the website, “The good news is the cuts aren’t being made, the MPAA has passed the film with an R-rating for ‘graphic bloody violence’ which sounds like Burton’s vision is remaining intact.”
While riskier parts of Burton’s film may remain intact, speculators say this may also make it more difficult for underage musical theatre- and Depp-fans alike to buy tickets.
Is all I can say after watching the Sweeney Todd trailer. Definitelly, it’s one of the most great characters Johnny will play. And his London accent? Damn, come soon, Christmas!
Finally I got time to sort captures from Johnny’s movies. Today I added 1208 pictures from one of the most funniest movies (IMO): Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. You can expect more this week.
Also, I’m looking for ICON MAKERS. If you’re good doing icons, please, email me with donations to our site. All credits will be given.
Be alive if you can! I found three high quality stills from movie Sweeney Todd. I almost fall from my chair. Take a look, and fall from yours, too:

Johnny Depp is to produce and star in the film adaptation of Hunter S Thompson’s autobiographical novel ‘The Rum Diary’. Thompson wrote the book – which is loosely based on his time in the 1950s working as a journalist in Puerto Rico – in 1959 but it was not published until 1998.
Oscar-winning producer Graham King’s GK Films has acquired the rights to the book, which King will produce with Depp for Warner Independent Pictures.
Depp will also star as Paul Kemp, a journalist writing for a rundown newspaper in San Juan alongside a motley self-destructive crew. Bruce Robinson (‘Withnail & I’) is writing the adapted screenplay and will direct. [source]
Some forty odd years ago a soap opera began its run, which would eventually take it to 1245 episodes by the time it went off the air in 1971. But this was no garden variety soap opera. This was “Dark Shadows”.
According to trade magazine Variety, via Filmstalker, Johnny Depp’s production company Infinitum-Nihil, GK Films, and Warner Bros. have signed a deal with the estate of the late Dan Curtis, and secured the rights to develop a feature film based on the show. Depp and Graham King will produce with David Kennedy, who ran Dan Curtis Prods. until Curtis’ death. There’s no word on who would direct, and indeed no word on whether Mr Depp would take on the signature role of Barnabas Collins himself. But it would seem the obvious choice, especially considering his personal attachment to the character:
Depp has said in interviews that he has always been obsessed with “Dark Shadows” and had, as a child, wanted to be Barnabas Collins, the vampire patriarch of the series.
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp says that he wouldn’t mind essaying his character in the adventure series ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ for a seventh time.
Forty-three-year-old Depp, who plays the role of Jack Sparrow in the hit series, said Sparrow’s character has a lot to explore.
“I’ll never get bored of Captain Jack, he is so much fun. If they wanted to do ‘Pirates 7′, why not? There are new layers to Jack and situations that he can’t just talk his way out of, so it would be good to keep exploring the character,” Tittle-tattle quoted Depp, as saying.
However, Depp doesn’t enjoy the process of fixing gold teeth on, for he finds the entire process very rough.
“They’re bonded on to my own choppers! They make the surface of my teeth kind of rough, then use hot glue and laser the false teeth on,” he said.
“The process of taking them off can be quite ugly. Sometimes they just shoot off and other times you have to address the issue more intensely, with yanking,” he added.
