What was the name of the short book mentioned in a scene of The Rum Diary? The author of this book in question was a 25 year old Italian explorer who wrote a travel book. Depp’s character compares this Italian’s incredible book to his own failure to write something valuable after 10 years of carrying a typewriter around.

Hey Fram, I just wanted to thank you for all that you do for Johnny’s fans here at JDW! It’s special Johnny fans like yourself who dedicate your time in giving Johnny followers a special place to come and get our daily Johnny Depp fix! I have to say that the 1998 photoshoot session 01 deserves mentioning. File 1 – Shows us Johnny’s boyish sweet side. File 2 – His chocolate puppy dog eyes could get a girl lost in them forever. File 5 – With Johnny’s striking features and fair haired look, he makes a much dreamier blonde then Mr. Brad Pitt! Those are my faves from the shoot!!!!

I sooo way Luv this site! It’s so ragingly awesome like our boy Johnny! I’ve always felt that Johnny was an actor’s actor, a true Hollywood chameleon! There’s no character out there that Johnny couldn’t play and make it his own. But, Johnny Depp goes way beyond his acting, he’s also a rare heart in Hollywood. Such charm and charisma, such kind-heartedness and grace. Johnny Depp is all those things and more. I’m very proud to consider myself a fan of Johnny Depp. I would Luv to see him act opposite once again with the equally handsome and talented actor Orlando Bloom. Those two command your attention when they are on the screen together. I just wanted to add a few of my thoughts on your site. Thanx for listening and keep up the ragingly awesome work you do here for Johnny and his fans!!!

I am really hoping you can clear up something for me. I live in Northern Delaware. On November 29th, my sister and I were at our local mall (Christiana Mall) having lunch in the food court. We saw someone who was a dead ringer for Johnny. He was with a woman and we did not want to bother him. Was it REALLY him? Or a very good lookalike? Please, if you can, let me know. Thank you.
