Johnny Depp is holding auditions to find writers for his latest movie Dali, reports say.

The actor is keen to find the best possible script for the film, in which he plays Spanish artist Salvador Dali.

A source is quoted as saying: “He’s open to working with anyone – from housewives to pensioners – if the script is right.”

Al Pacino and Peter O’Toole are also in talks to portray the surrealist painter in upcoming movies Dali and I and Goodbye Dali respectively.

Dali died of heart failure in 1989, aged 84.

So, the response hudge enough to make up the minds and actually do this? No address yet until theres a great demand for it? I see I see. Okay this looks like a good idea, the movie that is, and as the position of a screenplay writer for the job may I say good luck in that. Best wishes to you and yours John… er Johnny!

  • Mar 18Aime says:

Maybe Johnny should just base it on Wikipidia? Seems Dalis life is chronicaled nicely there. He could base the movie on the real life of Dali, if that’s his plan.

I am a Artist and avid movie watcher. I only watch TCM and Johnny is year 2000′s Charlie Chaplin… I would be a good contact for help with the writing or script as I can usually say or know before what is being said in movies before they say it. Oh by the way, my art is compared to chagall. I will be putting my work up on my space for all to see. http://www.poetry.com is where I put my copywrited poetry. Check it out and let me know how you like my work. If so, let others know. But I digress, Johnny needs someone that knows how to show complacated material in his manner or eccentricity-Good luck.
