Make-up artist Lori Anne Allison met Johnny Depp in Florida when he was in the band The Kids (she is the sister-in-law of one of the band members, Bruce Witkin). They got married on Dec 20, 1983, divorced 2 years later, but remained friends. She helped get his acting career started by introducing him to Nicholas Cage, who in turn got him in touch with his agent.

Sherilyn Fenn

Actress Sherilyn Fenn met Johnny in Los Angeles when they were both starting out in the acting business. They dated from about 1985 to 1988 and were engaged at one time. Sherilyn co-starred with Johnny in an episode of 21 Jump St.

Jennifer Grey

Actress Jennifer Grey, daughter of the famed actor Joel Grey, met Johnny in Los Angeles when he was starring in 21 Jump St. She had already achieved fame for her role in Dirty Dancing. They dated from 1988 to 1989 and were engaged at one time.

Winona Ryder

Actress Winona Ryder was just 17 when she met Johnny Depp. They began dating and became engaged in 1990 around the time they starred together in Tim Burton’s movie Edward Scissorhands. They broke up a few years later, in 1993, and Johnny eventually changed his Winona Forever tattoo to say Wino Forever. In recent interview, she has revealed her dad Michael Horowitz forbid the pair from tying the knot because she was only 17 at the time.

Super-model Kate Moss met Johnny in 1994. They quickly became engaged, and became fodder for the paparazzi Their tumultuous relationship ended in 1998, but Johnny has always been quick to defend her in the press. Johnn said, they split up, because they wished different things for their lives. “I don’t think I was very good for her, so what we did was right – we walked away from each other".

Multi-talented Vanessa Paradis, a major star in her homeland France, is a singer, model, and actress. She met Johnny Depp in Paris in 1998, when he was there filming The Ninth Gate. A few months later, the couple announced that she was pregnant. They now have 2 children, Lily-Rose and Jack, and though they haven’t married as yet, they are by all accounts very happy and very much in love.
