  • 1963 – On June 09, John Christopher Depp II was born to Beth Sue and John Depp in Owesboro, Kentucky.
  • 1970 – Moves with his family to Miramar, Florida
  • 1980 – Auditions for a high school talent show with a group called Bitch
  • 1981 – Join The Kids, a local Florida band
  • 1983 – Moved to Los Angeles with his band "The Kids", who subsequently changed names to "Six Gun Method". Coundn’t find any job to pay bills, so took other jobs including telemarketer. Married and divorced Lori Anne Allison, who introduced Johnny to Nicolas Cage, who steered Johnny to his first acting job.

  • 1986 – filmed Slow Burn (made for TV)
  • 1986 – Began taking acting classes at The Loft Studios. Johnny’s band breaks up. Began dating actress Sherlyn Fenn
