I'm just delurking here to say how much that article pisses me off. I don't appreciate being called a self-deluded fan; I don't know everything about JD's life, so I could be wrong, but didn't he used to live in the USA 'till he met Vanessa, while doing a movie in France? And what's wrong with that anyway? Is it France so horrible and US god's gift that it would be unthinkable that he would choose to move with her instead of bring her to his home? And because he didn't graduate from high-school, that automatically makes him stupid and does not qualify to give his opinion about the US, it seems.
Also, french fries is not a french term; it's english. e-mail is strictly english. A lot of people here doesn't use that term.
And America it's more that just one country; it's a whole damn continent, and some of its countries don't account for the world's oldest democracy; I should know, I'm writing from argentina.
I hope this kerfuffle will come to an end soon. I want to enjoy Johnny in peace,
