As some of you know, I’m owner of a Winona Ryder website. Last night I was looking for some videos, and found one, unknown date, with a few minutes of an interview about AIDS. Johnny don’t talk a word in this video (and also the video quality is really poor), that’s why I haven’t uploaded it here, but added caps to the gallery. Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
Johnny Depp narrates the documentary Gonzo, that tells the history of Hunter S. Thompson, journalist and personal friend of Johnny.

The movie is set to be released in July 4, in limited cinemas, and just in USA. There’s no information about the movie being released outside USA.

IESB.net has learned, via an interview with director Peter Segal, that the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and “Corpse Bride” team of Tim Burton, John August and Johnny Depp are reuniting for Dark Shadows.

Burton will reportedly direct the Warner Bros. feature based on the ’60s supernatural TV show from a script by August. Johnny Depp’s Infinitum-Nihil and GK Films are producing and Depp has had interest in playing Barnabas Collins, the vampire patriarch of the series, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Over 1,225 episodes, “Dark Shadows” was a highly atmospheric, spooky soap that featured gothic horror staples like vampires, monsters, witches, werewolves, ghosts and zombies.

And about his new tatoo (thanks to the guys at our previous comments), It’s a quote from the James Joyce‘s book “A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man“. At five pages of the end of the book, we can find this quote, from the main character Stephen:

According Monsters and Critics, Johnny will be presenting an award on the MTV Movie Awards show this Sunday.

Mark Burnett, the show producer, spoke to various reporters and confirmed that Depp, will be appear and present at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 1st. The Awards show will feature Mike Myers as host, and presenters Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Steve Carell, Robert Downey Jr. and many others who will dole out the golden popcorn awards for various achievements in film.

The U.S. TV show that made JOHNNY DEPP famous is making its way to the big screen, under the watchful eye of comedy star JONAH HILL, according to reports.

Depp found fame playing baby-faced police officer Tom Hanson in 1980s undercover cop series 21 Jump street when he was just 24. The role helped him land parts in movies Cry Baby and Edward Scissorhands, which catapulted him to Hollywood fame.

Superbad star Hill will serve as the new film’s executive producer and script writer, and will be joined by the original series’ co-creator Stephen J. Cannell, according to EW.COM.

Depp’s camp has yet to confirm if he will consider a cameo appearance in the film.

Johnny Depp doesn’t sport all that jewelry just to look hot. (That’s just a by-product.)

In advance of his 45th birthday on June 9, Johnny’s Angels—a club whose members share both a love for the Sweeney Todd star and a yen for doing good—is urging fellow fans to don a Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition memorial bracelet (which Depp has been spotted wearing) in honor of the brave kids involved with the organization and the way they’ve touched the lives of others.

Depp’s wristwear is imprinted with the phrase “Today Is a Gift…Have Fun,” but other choices include “Only Love” and “Live and Love It Up.” The messages are printed on a silver bar on a silver or leather band and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the CHPCC.

“Thanks to organizations like Johnny’s Angels, more and more people are learning about the work of [CHPCC],” said cofounders Lori Butterworth and Devon Dabbs. “With the support of Mr. Depp’s fans, we know that we’ll be better able to make a difference in the lives of children with life-threatening conditions and their families.”

A British literary agency says actor Johnny Depp’s half brother Daniel will publish his first novel.

“Loser’s Town” follows a private detective called in when a Hollywood star begins receiving death threats.

MBA Literary Agents Ltd. said Friday that Daniel Depp struck a deal with Simon and Schuster to publish the book in the United States and Britain early next year. Canadian rights have been acquired by Penguin and French rights have been sold to Presses de la Cite.

Depp is a scriptwriter and producer. He splits his time between France and California.
