Richard Says Goodbye seems like the perfect way for Johnny Depp to redeem his public image after a scandalous recent past while shooting the pirates of the Caribbean in Australia. The world renowned actor reportedly misbehaved in Australia and was even at some point involved in a rundown with the Australian authority. Richard Says Goodbye depicts a beat college professor who receives a diagnosis that will change his life. This diagnosis becomes his turning point and decides to let loose and live life in the fast lane.
The comic drama is being directed written and being by Wayne Roberts while Johnny Depp will work alongside Odessa Young; the Looking for Grace star, Danny Huston; recently casted in Wonder Woman, Rosemarie DeWitt; La La Land and Devon Terrell who played Barack Obama in the movie Barry. There are reports that the creator of the show has asked Zoey Deutch (Before I Fall star) to be Johnny’s co-star. Shooting has apparently kicked off in an undisclosed location in Vancouver, Canada.

It remains to be seen whether Johnny Depp has turned a new leaf or his inappropriate conduct in Australia on the set will be repeated in Vancouver. The show will be a great opportunity for the actor to take back his place as a legend in the movie industry and reclaim lost glory from his previous set life.
